Introducing... Drew Novaes

My co-worker - Derek Novaes (who is awesome btw) wanted to take me out to get more experience.  So we took his beautiful daughter out for a fun shoot.  She was AMAZING!  I was very surprised by how natural she was in front of the camera.  She went from one pose to the next.  I also took a few shoots of Brady (her brother) and some pictures of Derek and his two little ones goofing around. Overall, it was very fun.  We ended the day with some ice cream which made everyone happy.  Once I got home, I wanted to play around with the photos and try different filters.  I like the way they turned out and it kind of gives it a very Easter feeling.

Thu and Kao's Engagement

Hawaii: Oahu-Honolulu: So Thu and Kao graciously invited me to do their engagement photos.  She only wanted a few shots but I really wanted to do my best…I mean it’s HAWAII!! Who knows when this opportunity will come again.  Unfortunately, it felt more like winter in paradise, but for the most part, we tried our best.  They were troopers.  We shoot in the rain, cold, windy, and sunny weather.  It sure was not easy but we made it out.  We definitely took advantage of the sun when it was out and when it wasn’t, we partied it up (We were also celebrating Thu’s Birthday).  Some of the most memorable moments of this trip were: the long walks (we seriously walked about 20 miles), the crotch dance, the photo experience, and last but not least – hanging out with everyone.  Sadly, every good trip has to end.  Once we got back to the motherland and I got to look into it some more, I was please with what I saw.  I only hope Thu and Kao liked what they see.  So, here’s to the wonderful and beautiful couple that will be tying the knot.  I wish you two love, health, and happiness!
